August industry indexes, shipments and inventory updated
Nine new official observations and 20 historical revisions extend all eight U.S. semiconductor long-history series and the four-series cycle panel through August. The Census computer/electronics aggregate also extends through August.
What this update does not prove
Native price and production indexes, capacity, utilization and USD-million shipments/inventory remain distinct. These U.S. industry statistics are not memory-product prices, physical shipments, company ASPs or forecasts. Prior values and source versions are retained.
